Skype2PBX è un software basato su Linux che grazie ad un usb box waitec consente di utilizzare tutti i servizi Skype tramite un tradizionale centralino.
Per Skype2PBX è necessario avere a disposizione un pc che verrà utilizzato per collegare diverse linee contemporanee ed è importante avere le risorse hardware sufficienti per garantire una buona qualità della voce.
I requisiti consigliati sono: Processore: Intel Pentium III 800MHz, Ram: 256MB, HDD: minimo 8GB, Porte usb: sufficienti per il numero di usb box da utilizzare.
Una volta che il sistema è in funzione, non è necessario installare Skype sui diversi pc client, basterà utilizzare il telefono normale per chiamare sia gli utenti Skype, sia numeri di rete fissa o mobile tramite il servizio SkypeOut.
E’ possibile inoltre ricevere la chiamata attraverso il centralino anche quando qualcuno chiama il vostro account Skype.
